Baked-on grease comes off without harsh spray too. Hot micro steam softens the crust with pure heat, and you wipe it away. No cleaner, no gloves, no long wait for it to take effect. This page shows you step by step how it works.

Hot micro steam at around 180 °C softens baked-on grease in the oven, and you wipe it away. No spray, no gloves, no waiting time. The heat also reduces germs (proven: CDC).
Conventional oven cleaners work with harsh, strongly alkaline substances. It's no accident that manufacturers themselves advise gloves, good ventilation and keeping the product away from eyes and skin, right there on the can.
Many cleaning products also contain fragrances and preservatives that count as contact allergens. Methylisothiazolinon was named contact allergen of the year in 2013 and is found in cleaning products, among other things. The effort remains: spray on, let it work, wipe off, ventilate. The odour often still lingers in the room long after the oven is clean.
Irritate the eyes and airways, which is why gloves and ventilation are advised.
Spray on, wait, wipe off. That drags on for half an hour.
A chemical haze in the oven that you smell again the next time you roast.
Inside the device, tap water is heated under pressure to around 180 °C. The fine, hot steam hits the baked-on layer and softens grease and crusts. What was rock hard before comes off with a cloth.
Because the steam contains very little water, hardly any residual moisture is left behind. The oven is ready to use again quickly, with no chemical film on the tray. A detailed explanation of how the heat works is in the micro steam overview.
No preheating, no spray. One device, the right attachment, hot steam.
Three ways to a clean oven. The difference lies in the effort and in what's left behind.
| Hot micro steam | Oven spray | Household remedies (baking soda & co.) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Heat softens grease | harsh chemicals dissolve grease | paste, scrubbing by hand |
| Waiting time | short, wipe off right away | often half an hour | several hours to overnight |
| Harsh fumes | none, just water vapour | yes, ventilation needed | none |
| Gloves needed | no | yes, per manufacturer | usually not |
| Residues | none, water evaporates | chemical film possible | paste must be removed thoroughly |
| Also for grout joints, bathroom, mattress | yes, the same device | no | limited |
“Talk is cheap. You only see the difference when the steam works on your own surface.”

Frequently asked questions
Yes. For stubborn spots, you let the steam work briefly and steam again. The heat softens old, hard crusts too.
Yes. Steam is the gentle alternative to burning off with pyrolysis, without the very high temperatures and the typical odour.
No. Hot steam doesn't attack the enamel. Seals and door glass are only steamed and wiped, a greasy film often collects there.
A few minutes for a normally dirty oven. There's no spraying and no long wait for the cleaner to take effect.
As a rule, no. For the oven, hot steam from pure tap water is enough, the heat does the work.
With the same device you also clean grout joints, the bathroom, mattresses and the vehicle interior. At the free demonstration we show it on your own surfaces.
